Rebecca Zhang

Rebecca Zhang has lived and worked in China, France, and Canada, giving her a unique ability to bridge cultural differences—a key asset in her professional success. 

 

Rebecca's academic journey began in China, where she earned her undergraduate degree in International Trade. She then pursued a master’s degree in international commerce (Asia-Pacific) in France, further enhancing her global perspective. This diverse educational background laid the foundation for a career that spans multiple industries and roles at prominent companies. 

 

From 2013 to 2019, Rebecca served as Account Executive for the Chinese Market at a Vancouver-based tech company in the medical field. In this role, she developed a deep understanding of the sales strategies necessary to navigate China’s complex medical device market. Rebecca was heavily involved in managing tender projects, from understanding the procedures to administering them effectively, all while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements. Her role required close collaboration with various stakeholders, including hospital administrators and regulatory bodies, to drive successful project implementations. 

 

This experience not only sharpened Rebecca’s expertise in medical device sales and project management but also fueled her passion for enhancing healthcare in China. Seeing firsthand the positive impact her work had on improving medical services across the country, Rebecca became deeply committed to advancing Chinese healthcare. Her dedication to this mission continues to drive her efforts in making meaningful contributions to the industry, ensuring that innovative medical solutions are effectively integrated into China’s healthcare system.
